Every piece of wood has a story... Every piece of wood is unique. Therefore every piece of wood will differ from the next. Thus every piece we make will be a one of a kind.
Do you have a retail shop?
We do not have a traditional retail shop. We have a small workshop in Tracy, CA, where we make all of our pieces. However, we do have a small showroom. Feel free to contact us to schedule a visit. We also display our pieces at the Alameda Antiques Fair and the Tracy Farmers Market monthly. See the Contacts page for event schedule.
Where does the wood come from?
Most of the wood we use is sourced from local homes, buildings, or structures that are deconstructed.
What is Reclaimed Wood?
Reclaimed wood is simply taking wood that was used in another capacity and using it again. Since it used in another capacity the wood will have knots, holes, cracks, nicks, patches, and other imperfections that enhance the uniqueness and beauty of each piece.
What types of wood do you use?
The majority of reclaimed wood we use will be Douglas Fir and Redwood. Other woods we have used, when available, are Oak, Cedar, Ash, and Walnut.
Can you make 2 identical tables?
Since every piece of wood has different characteristics, they cannot be identical. We can make you 2 or more tables with the same dimensions, same wood, same stain, same finish, same legs. They will be similar and have their own characteristics and will all look fantastic.
Can you use wood that doesn’t have imperfections? (IE Nail holes and knots.)
Because we only use reclaimed wood, almost all pieces of wood will have imperfections such as holes, knots, etc. Simply put, NO, not with reclaimed wood. That would require using NEW wood.
Can you make any size table?
Yes, we can make a table any height, depth, and width needed. Within reason, of course.
What is the lead time for a custom order?
Completion of a custom order will be between 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the style, size, and quantity of the order.
